Puppy food is high in energy and nutritional contents making it suitable for dogs in the gestation and lactation periods. Particularly towards the end of the gestation period, the mother dog will require a nutrient-dense diet in order to support the healthy growth and development of the embryos. She will also require more nutrients during lactation period to support milk production. During gestation and lactation, the nutritional needs of the mother dog will increase dramatically. Puppy food has higher levels of energy, protein and other nutrients, making it more suitable for mother dog than regular adult dog food. Adjust feeding amount according to your pet's breed, weight and activity to maintain ideal weight and condition. Clean fresh drinking water must be available for your pet at all times.
Feeding Recommendation
To avoid digestive upsets associated with the food change, slowly replace increasing quantities of old food with LuvCare to completely replace the old food in 5-7 days.
