Cream of tartar is an all-natural ingredient essential to bakers.
It adds texture, volume, lift and stabilizes to beaten egg whites in angel food cake, meringue shells, meringue for pies and resulting in light and fluffy desserts.
To make baked goods, simply mix 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar per 2 pounds of baked goods.
To make meringue, mix 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar per 3 egg whites.
