Scented with aromatic Thai basil, this is a quick and simple dish which is a favourite of the people of downtown Bangkok. Sometimes it is served hot over steamed rice with fried egg.
Ingredients/Materials
(Chilli 25%, Holy Basil Leaves 15%, Soy Sauce (Soybean, Wheat, Salt) 13%, Garlic 12%, Onion 10%, Sugar 7%, Soybean Oil 7%, Salt 5%, fish Sauce (Anchovy Extract, Salt, Sugar) 2%, Thickener (Hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate) 2%, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (Corn, Yeast Extract), Flavouring.)
Preparation and Usage
Recipe: Pad Bai Kapao
1. Slice or chop 250 g. beef, chicken or other meats.
2. Heat a skillet and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
3. When the skillet is hot, add the meat and contents of this packet together with 1 tablespoon water, Stir-fry until done and serve.
