Preparation and Usage

Recommended daily feeding amount for kittens with normal activity (using a standard 8oz/250ml measuring cup

- approximately 117g of Purina ONE).

Remember food intake requirements very depending on age, activity and environment, and should be adjusted accordingly.

Kitten feeding instructions

Kittens generally nibble solid foods at three to four weeks of age Keep moistened Purina ONE available to these kittens at all times After weaning, at six to eight weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will If water is added, use no more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts Purina ONE, changing frequently to ensure freshness.

When Feeding for Reproduction

Purina ONE provides all the nutrients needed during reproduction It is necessary to add supplement vitamins or minerals. Food consumption can vary during gestation. Feed the amount needed to maintain ideal body condition in the pregnant female. After the kittens are born, feed the nursing female all she wants to eat. Food intake can double or quadruble during lactation.

Making the switch to Purina ONE.

Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE can make in your cat, please allow seven to ten days to ease the transition from her current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more of Purina One until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

No Supplements Necessary

Purina ONE Provides complete and balanced nutrition for the growth of kittens and replacing females in stages of gestation and lactation. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.
